wednesday the 24th of march saw the yum crew host Commerce Ballarat’s BLEND event. this is an opportunity for Ballarat locals under 39 in business and leadership to get together, chew the fat, and make some connections. punters flooded in to yum hq and much networking, chatting and general merriment ensued.

then things got a little loco…

brows sweated, buttocks clenched and eyes were quickly averted as MC Erin “Ez” McCuskey called for participants to step up and take PowerPoint Karaoke challenge.
and step up they did! it was a wild ride through some truly bewildering PowerPoints that actual people have created and actually use?! there was minced meat, tightropes , scary looking anagrams and even a coronation. the (mostly) willing BLENDers bluffed and improvised their way beautifully through the presentations and the crowd didn’t hold back with the applause and enthusiasm.
